The City of Norfolk's Department of Parks and Recreation is currently seeking an Equipment Operator III for cemeteries operated by the City of Norfolk. The Equipment Operator III is responsible for the preparation of the interment by opening and closing the grave(s). They also participate in the ground's maintenance and landscape projects, including, but not limited to, mowing, trimming, foundation installations, tree trimming, and supporting other cemetery locations Norfolk's department of Parks and Recreation is proud to announce it has been awarded national accreditation by the Commission for Accreditation of Parks and Recreation Agencies. This ensures we will continue to provide quality recreational services that enrich the lives of Norfolk's residents. The City of Norfolk Cemetery Fund produces annual revenues in excess of $2.5 million.
