Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an industry related position or craft.
• Must complete Division specific training as directed.
• Must obtain a Class B commercial driver’s license with air brake endorsement within six (6) months of hire.
• Heavy lifting is required, sometimes in excess of 50 pounds.
• Must submit to/pass pre-employment background/drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operating specialized maintenance equipment and is proficient in use of handheld equipment, hand tools, and other power equipment.
• Performs asset and infrastructure improvements and manual labor as necessary.
• Cuts brush and trees from county infrastructure.
• Participates in ice and snow control operations.
