About The Position
The City of Thibodaux is accepting online applications for the full-time classified position of Equipment Operator I. High School or equivalent is required, under and including one year of experience operating equipment (including by not limited to lawn mowers, tractors, dump trucks, front end loader/backhoe and etc.) Must pass the written and practical test to be in a selectable position. Job Mission: The purpose of this position is to maintain the cleanliness, appearance and infrastructure of the City. This position is in Grade 613 of the pay plan. The minimum pay amount is $15.48 per hour. The written test will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. for qualified applicants at the Recreation Building at Peltier Park located at 151 Peltier Park Dr, Thibodaux, LA 70301-4835. The practical test will be announced at a later date for qualified applicants. Please make sure you monitor your email to get confirmation and information from the City of Thibodaux.
