Wastewater Management oversees all aspects of wastewater functions, including the construction, operation, maintenance of the City’s sanitary and storm systems, and responding to customer inquiries regarding sewage and storm drainage service charges. As a Equipment Operator you will: Operate light to medium sized equipment for maintenance and minor construction projects (tandem axel dump trucks, skid steers, and power tools). Complete storm and sanitary repairs General asphalt and concrete placement and repair Trench and excavate surroundings Confined space entries Sewer and pipe main fitting Inspects vehicle for loose parts, damaged or worn tires, proper air pressure in tires, and other items affecting its safe operation and completes a pre/post trip inspection as defined by federal guidelines.
