About The Position
The City of Westbrook is hiring for the position of Equipment Operator I. Under direction, this role involves performing a variety of maintenance and construction tasks, operating various types of equipment including trucks, skid steer loaders, front end loaders, street sweepers, rollers, compactors, roadside mowers, wood chippers, snowplows, and other light equipment and hand tools as required. The position is part of the Streets division of the Public Services Department, which is responsible for maintaining 93 miles of roadways, public parking, parks, open spaces, and cemeteries.
