About The Position
TPC Twin Cities is seeking an Equipment Operator I to join our team at our prestigious golf course located in Blaine, Minnesota. This entry-level position is essential for maintaining the golf course grounds and ensuring that our facilities are in top condition for our members and guests. The Equipment Operator I will operate various types of machinery and perform specific tasks as directed by the Director of Golf Course Maintenance Operations and the Assistant Golf Course Superintendents. This role is vital in supporting the overall maintenance and aesthetic appeal of our 235-acre golf course, which features a par-72 layout designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining logs for equipment operation, performing daily cleaning and organization tasks in the maintenance facility, and ensuring that all machinery is cleaned and inspected after use. In addition to operating equipment, the Equipment Operator I will be trained in various maintenance tasks, including line trimming, edging, ball mark repair, divot filling, sod laying, and operating utility vehicles and blowers. The position requires adherence to safety standards and the use of personal protective equipment. The work environment is dynamic, with exposure to various outdoor weather conditions, and the role demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move heavy items. This position does not require travel and has no direct supervisory responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their careers in golf course maintenance.
