About The Position

Seeking an individual to perform various duties at an aggregate plant facility including equipment operation, welding, and other plant-related tasks. Must be dedicated, willing to learn and wanting to build a career while achieving the highest level of safety standards. This is an entry level equipment operator's position, and we will consider training the right individual.

Requirements

• Experience preferred in large aggregate equipment including haul truck, water truck, wheel loader, and skid steers
• Mechanically inclined
• High school education or GED equivalent
• MSHA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate mining and hauling equipment to help ensure a safe and productive operation
• Assist in maintaining mobile equipment and plant equipment when necessary
• Ability to inspect equipment and identify safety and maintenance items
• Detect safety hazards within the mine area
• Ability to follow directions and receive coaching
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends when necessary
• Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in MSHA policies and procedures manual, and OSHA guidelines
• Perform additional job duties as assigned
