About The Position
The Village of Lincolnwood, Illinois is seeking an individual to serve as a Public Works Equipment Operator. This role involves performing a variety of tasks including the repair and maintenance of parkways, trees, and alleys. Specific work assignments are provided on a daily basis and may be rotated. The position requires the operation of motorized equipment and entails heavy physical labor. Additionally, the operator must be available for on-call duty for emergencies, as determined by the Director of Public Works, which requires availability at any hour or day.
