The position involves operating heavy, material-moving construction equipment to ensure the safe, efficient, and productive movement of aggregate material. The role requires performing field engineering, welding, fabrication, and major repairs of all plant equipment in conjunction with the plant operator to maintain high safety and production standards at the aggregate production facility. Adherence to proper GOH/MSHA safety practices and procedures is mandatory. The position also includes conducting pre and post-shift inspections of plant and equipment, working as a team member, and utilizing small hand and power tools, torches, and welding equipment. Additional responsibilities include rebuilding various crushers and screens, maintaining company equipment, and potentially traveling to other job locations. The role may require working more than 40 hours per week, including non-traditional hours such as night shifts, Saturdays, and occasionally Sundays.
