Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Operator experience preferred.
• Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of equipment around the job site area.
• Partner with employees as instructed by foreman to ensure daily schedules are met.
• Maintain attendance according to attendance policy to ensure crew ability to operate at a normal efficiency level.
• Excavate/operate equipment under temperature extremes and for extended hours of time.
• Perform/assist with other positions for job completions.
• Maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and the general public.
• Be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, and time of shift changes.
• Work overtime as required.
• Be prepared for out of town/county/state work.
• Be prepared for night shift work as required.
• Excavate designated areas with attention to detail and emphasis on craftsmanship.
• Operate off road truck to specifications.
• Operate heavy equipment on rough grade work in job site area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and requirements.
• Follow instructions of supervisor/facility manager in order to adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
