About The Position

The APEX Beverage Equipment Operator will assist in all areas of the Beverage Plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily production needs with the supervisors and inventory managers in loading/unloading trailers and production work. The Equipment Operator must be willing and able to assist in operating the Beverage Plant equipment. Monitor and log equipment values and parameters to include temperature and pressure gauges, indicators, and meters. Track correct materials for all production requirements. Unload and prepare ingredients for daily processing. Complete changeovers, CIP s, PMs, clean and sanitize tools/equipment as directed. Perform other duties as assigned. Identifying faults and troubleshooting equipment as required. Ensuring all equipment is maintained and used in accordance with company health and safety regulations. Cleaning, lubricating, and performing regular safety checks on equipment. Fix issues that might occur during the shift. Maintain activity logs. Trains new personnel on proper operational procedures. Supports food safety, legality, and quality programs. Experience with minor mechanical repairs (e.g., jams, using tools, making basic adjustments to equipment, etc.).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven, reliable work history.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Pro-active mindset with the ability to apply common sense and good judgment under minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work as a team and follow instructions.
  • Proven experience operating machinery.
  • Mechanical knowledge of automated machines and tools.
  • Ability to repair minor mechanical issues on machines and systems.
  • Experience conducting quality tests and analyzing data.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • One to two years experience as an Equipment Operator in a similar production environment preferred.
  • Forklift certification.
