About The Position

The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe operation of all equipment within the Service Center. Duties may include accurately moving, stacking, and loading product, consolidating, and staging pallets for put away. The Equipment Operators position require associates to be taken up to 30 feet in the air on equipment. Automation Operators duties include ensuring maximum throughput, first level troubleshooting of equipment problems including use of computer logs and communicating labor needs to maximize the running hours of the machinery. All operators must be able to certify on any machine within the warehouse as business needs dictate. Rate: $21.00/hour Shifts Available: Monday - Thursday 11am - 9:30pm.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of previous equipment operations experience highly preferred.
• Basic proficiency in speaking and understanding English to comprehend safety instructions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate all equipment within the distribution center.
• Perform routine inspection on assigned equipment and report defects or needed repairs.
• Ensure all assigned equipment is fully operational at the beginning of the shift.
• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate problems to the supervisor, manager, safety director, or HR manager.
• Follow daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
