Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years of experience in a mechanical maintenance or technician role
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, and PLCs.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed

Nice To Haves

Technical certification in mechanical or industrial maintenance
Working knowledge of mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, bearings, and hand tools
Basic electrical skills, including knowledge of 240-480 volt systems
Familiarity with air compressors, torch use (oxygen/acetylene), and electrical troubleshooting
Hands-on experience using diagnostic tools and equipment

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and execute repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and increase equipment longevity.
Monitor and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with operations teams to minimize disruption to daily car wash activities.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and document repair procedures.
Install and configure new mechanical components and systems.
Ensure adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
Provide on-call support for emergency maintenance issues as needed.
Assist with equipment upgrades and retrofits to improve performance and efficiency.
Provide documentation, training, and knowledge sharing for internal stakeholders on AD and cybersecurity tools and practices.
