About The Position

The position involves conducting predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance on various industrial equipment including lasers, saws, press brakes, plasma tables, automation systems, hoists, and forklifts. The role requires performing precise calibration and alignment of equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality. Additionally, the candidate will manage the inventory of critical spare parts and consumables, handle minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing repairs, and track maintenance activities and metrics. Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards is essential. The role also includes minimizing deferred maintenance costs, installing new equipment, and documenting maintenance issues accurately.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in mechanical fields or equivalent formal training and hands-on experience.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work on hard surfaces for up to 12 hours in varying temperatures.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity.
  • Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel, crouch, stoop, reach, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Self-starter able to work independently and recognize tasks without direct assignment.
  • Proficient in reading and speaking English.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours for preventative maintenance activities.

Responsibilities
