The Equipment Maintenance Technician supports Manufacturing Operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing filling and assembly equipment used to produce reagent consumables. This role involves working closely with the Manufacturing Engineering (ME) team, performing preventive maintenance, providing daily production support, and handling electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting. The technician will also coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and manage critical spare parts to ensure equipment uptime, product quality, and GMP compliance. This position offers hands-on exposure to automated manufacturing equipment and opportunities to develop skills in CAD, PLC/automation fundamentals, and equipment reliability under the guidance of the Manufacturing Engineering team. Success in this role is measured by safe, reliable equipment operation, disciplined preventive maintenance, and clear communication with Operations and Engineering, with the goal of the technician becoming a trusted first responder for equipment issues over time.
