Our Equipment Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing preventative maintenance, electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and installation of various semiconductor fabrication machines and equipment. Shift: during training for the first few months, you will be on E Shift: Mon- Fri 8:00AM- 5:00PM. After training, moved to one of the following shifts: A Shift: Sun-Tues and every other Wed, 6:00AM- 6:15PM C Shift: Thurs-Sat and every other Wed, 6:00AM- 6:15PM Responsibilities: This Equipment Maintenance Technician will support Advanced Technology Services and Wafer Services. Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble Semiconductor Fabrication equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating and repair manuals. Use test and diagnostic equipment to identify root cause problems and put corrective actions in place. Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance duties on Semiconductor production equipment. Complete and maintain required documentation for quality standards. Rebuild equipment and sub-assemblies as required. Perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers. Participate in Maintenance or cross-functional teams such as 5S+ and CIP. Take ownership of small projects and equipment assembly tasks Work with outside vendors as required Process chemical and gas handling Maintains critical spares and consumables inventory. Required Qualifications Education: 2 Year Technical/Associates Degree in Science, Math, Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing or a related discipline Or equivalent military training / work experience. Experience and/or Training: 2-5 years of related work experience Demonstrated expertise in performing electro\mechanical\fluidic circuit troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and equipment modification. Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation; demonstrate solid work performance in an environment requiring high level of attention to detail and timeliness. Ability to define, initiate, manage, and execute on projects to improve tool/equipment function and metrics. The ability to work in a cross-functional team environment, prioritize tasks, and plan for maintenance is essential. Use hand tools including wrenches, calipers, voltage/current meters, oscilloscopes and other various equipment technology specific tooling. Technology/Equipment: Competent with Windows OS interfaces, MS office suite. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs Ability to work 12 hours shifts. Will start on E shift M-F, 8 hour days and move to A or C shift in the future. Ability to work with and around chemicals Wear complete fab attire for an entire shift and meet all safety and cleanroom requirements US Citizenship Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship. Preferred Qualifications Experience and/or Training: A strong understanding and working knowledge of the following equipment is also needed: pneumatic/hydraulic pump systems, multi axis servo systems, vision components, chillers & cooling systems. Semiconductor industry experience Familiarity with Robotic / Automated handling systems & High vacuum systems Ideal candidate will have direct experience with one or more of the following types of Semiconductor Fabrication Equipment: Advanced Semiconductor Packaging, Fan Out Wafer Level Packaging, Hybrid Bonding, Photolithography, Wafer Bonding, Wet Etch, Metrology, Electroplate, PVD, CVD, Dry Etch, CMP, Advanced Packaging and Test equipment.
