The Equipment Engineering team consists of multiple functional areas within the operations of the wafer fab including Photolithography, Diffusion, Implant, Metrology, Etch, and Thin Films. The Equipment Technician is responsible for: Following all safety procedures and expectations when working on equipment in the clean room. Adhering to all clean room protocols and procedures. Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on factory equipment within their assigned area. Maintaining a clean work area before, during, and after repair and maintenance work. Employing strong attention to detail, including documentation of actions and observation regarding the equipment. Troubleshooting equipment problems to their root cause. Communicating findings to their peers and engineers. Making recommendations to improve practices within their area of the factory. Employ basic statistical process control concepts to troubleshoot and monitor the health of equipment in their area. Troubleshooting to the component level when necessary. SCHEDULE: Excellent attendance and punctuality are an absolute requirement in these full-time, compressed work week (CWW) schedules. All shifts require working either Saturday or Sunday. D1 shift – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday 6:30AM-6:30PM N1 shift -- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday 6:30PM - 6:30AM ( Base + 12.8% Weighted Average Differential) D2 shift – Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday 6:30AM-6:30PM N2 shift -- Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday 6:30PM - 6:30AM ( Base + 18.5% Weighted Average Differential)

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma (Equivalent or GED)
  • Candidates pursuing a degree in a technical field will be considered.
  • Able to lift/push/pull/carry up to 35lbs unassisted.
  • Able to lift/push/pull/carry more than 35lbs with assistance.
  • Follow written procedures and verbal directions in English accurately
  • Walk/Stand frequently throughout 12-hour shift
  • Walks up and down stairs frequently
  • Lifts above head with two hands and manipulates wafer boxes using fingers
  • Sees colors (red, green, blue, white) and flashing alarms, if safety warnings occur
  • Hears and responds immediately to equipment alarms
  • Performs all duties while wearing cleanroom garments such as full-body jumpsuit, safety glasses, nitrile gloves, face masks, hairnets, hoods and cleanroom shoes
  • The cleanroom prohibits the use of personal cell phones, makeup, hairspray, hair gel, perfume, and cologne.
  • For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position – except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) – may have to go through an export licensing review process.
