Requirements

  • Electrical knowledge and experience with: 120VAC – 480VAC; single and three-phase power
  • PLC systems
  • Industrial machine controls
  • Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to effectively read and interpret: Equipment manuals and technical documentation Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics Mechanical drawings and machine prints
  • Ability to perform minor welding and fabrication as needed
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to work modified schedules as required to support production needs
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 25 pounds regularly; occasionally lift, push, or move 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in tire, automotive, or manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of OE tire mounting equipment and production machinery
  • Assist with production line start-up, shut down, changeovers, and general operational support
  • Perform preventative maintenance on tire mounting machines, conveyors, and associated equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues
  • Perform minor to major repair of tire mounting and balancing equipment
  • Perform minor to major repair of forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Minor to major repair of other facility equipment and building systems
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date preventative maintenance records for all equipment and facility systems
  • Maintain and clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Identify and implement process or equipment improvements to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support facility and team operations
