Requirements
- Electrical knowledge and experience with: 120VAC – 480VAC; single and three-phase power
- PLC systems
- Industrial machine controls
- Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting experience
- Ability to effectively read and interpret: Equipment manuals and technical documentation Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics Mechanical drawings and machine prints
- Ability to perform minor welding and fabrication as needed
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work modified schedules as required to support production needs
- Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 25 pounds regularly; occasionally lift, push, or move 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in tire, automotive, or manufacturing environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of OE tire mounting equipment and production machinery
- Assist with production line start-up, shut down, changeovers, and general operational support
- Perform preventative maintenance on tire mounting machines, conveyors, and associated equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues
- Perform minor to major repair of tire mounting and balancing equipment
- Perform minor to major repair of forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Minor to major repair of other facility equipment and building systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date preventative maintenance records for all equipment and facility systems
- Maintain and clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Identify and implement process or equipment improvements to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned to support facility and team operations
