About The Position

Arrow Electronics is looking for motivated and reliable team members to join our fast-paced electronics repair and processing facility. What You'll Be Doing: Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of facility equipment related to the functional operation of the value added center. May be involved in miscellaneous facility structural repairs and maintenance as needed or required. Demonstrates basic competency is at least two specialty areas. Depending on facility, specialties include basic machining, welding, carpentry, etc. Understands the basic safety principles of all pieces of equipment. Takes direction from supervisor and level 2 technician in terms of prioritization. Escalates issues beyond scope of expertise to level II tech or tech supervisor. Able to deal with all levels of staff, including verbal interactions with peer technicians, PDC operators, crew leads and supervisors, technician supervisors. Able to complete basic problem-solving tasks. May perform basic facility maintenance tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Typically requires 2 - 5 years of experience.
  • Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks.
  • Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy.
  • Has no discretion to vary from established procedures.
