About The Position

We are looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join the team in Austin, Texas. This role will be on either: C Shift: Thursday through Saturday in week one, and Wednesday through Saturday in week two, from 6:55am - 7:10pm OR D Shift: Wednesday through Friday in week one, and Wednesday through Saturday in week two, from 6:55pm - 7:10am. This role offers a 15% differential Duties & Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance activities on AMHS equipment (Daifuku), Kensington and Brooks wafer sorters, Alvarda turnstiles, H-Square wafer notch aligners, Mactronix automatic wafer transfer devices, hoists, OHTs, and other transfer equipment. Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) and basic equipment health checks. Perform basic troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues to support fab uptime. Assist with spare part replacement, adjustments, and minor calibrations as instructed. Work closely with engineers to escalate complex incidents and support root-cause investigations. Attend training programs to broaden technical and equipment-specific skillsets. Follow established safety, compliance, and documentation standards. Support continuous improvement activities to increase equipment reliability and stability. Work with the shift leadership team and other maintenance technicians to drive the team's overall success

Requirements

• One or Multiple of the following:
• Associate of Applied Science degree (A.A.S.), or technical trade school certificate preferred but not required. Work experience will be considered.
• 2-3 years of experience in an Equipment Maintenance role within the Semiconductor industry
• Daifuku AMHS / OHT systems preferred
• Basic troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems
• Equipment performance checks and documentation
• Intermediate hand tools, multimeter checking voltages, resistance, etc.. and communication skills
• Ability to work in a Class 1 clean room environment
• High focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and 5S culture
• Able to follow preventative maintenance and Standard Work procedures

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Automation Controls Systems.
• Oscilloscope experience
• Capable of demonstrating analytical troubleshooting methods (Root Cause Analysis, 8D Problem Solving, and 5-why), and First Time Right repair skills
