Equipment Maintenance Technician All Shifts
About The Position
Due to continued expansion, Suncast Corporation is hiring experienced Equipment Maintenance Technicians for 2nd or 3rd shift. This position is a long-term growth opportunity for an ambitious, career-minded Equipment Maintenance Technician interested in a career with a major manufacturer of consumer products. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Five or more years’ experience in industrial equipment maintenance required.
- Technical experience and/or training in two or of these areas - mechanical, electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
- Reliable, proactive and willing to take initiative.
- Experience using microprocessor-controlled equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in plastic injection and/or blow molding a plus.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair production equipment.
- Diagnose problems. Determine what repairs are required and determine the equipment, supplies, and skills needed to complete the repairs.
- Operate machine tools as required to install and repair equipment.
- Demonstrate good communication skills with maintenance and production personnel.
- Perform major equipment repairs.
- Work collaboratively with team members; mentor and train maintenance helpers.
- Support and comply with all Suncast safety policies, quality standards, and housekeeping methods at all times.
