Be part of a global leader shaping the future of biometric based technology. We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the optimal performance of our manufacturing facility's equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment types. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old
  • High School Diploma required
  • 0-2 years’ experience in technical maintenance role.
  • Must be a sole US citizen without dual citizenship.
  • Must be able to successfully pass various background screening requirements including criminal history, education, credit, and drug screen as well as obtain any required program specific credentials and certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the repair and maintenance of equipment or machinery.
  • Uses hand tools, power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments to repair and maintain, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.
  • Ensures new machines are prepared for operation following protocols and procedures and perform  regular technical testing to ensure their safety and efficiency.
  • Collects data on machine operation and suggests actions to reduce machine downtime.
