About The Position

onsemi is seeking a Maintenance Equipment Technician (CMP) in Gresham, OR. As an Equipment Maintenance Technician (CMP) at onsemi's premier 200mm manufacturing facility, you will work in a dynamic team environment, perform preventive, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance proficiently on a variety of innovative semiconductor manufacturing tools. Each day, you will be challenged by working on a diverse set of tools with a world-class team. Shift: B shift Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, e/o Saturday. 7:00PM-7:06AM

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work Shift: B shift Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, e/o Saturday.
• High-level attention to detail
• Methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivator; ability to work independently under general guidance and direction
• Ability to independently learn systems and processes associated with the role
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in constrained spaces and awkward positions
• Ability to apply force full exertion

Nice To Haves

• Associate/technical degree or currently working towards a degree.
• 5+ years of prior technician experience
• CMP area equipment experience: AMAT Mirra/ OnTrak, AMAT Mirra/ Mesa, IPEC 776/7700, and IPEC Momentum/OnTrak
• MS Excel and Word skills a plus

Responsibilities

• Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose root cause, and make reliability improvement recommendations.
• Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment according to maintenance specifications and repair manuals.
• Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis and repair of equipment.
• Drive solutions and guidelines by recommending and writing maintenance procedures and specifications.
• Perform scheduled tool qualifications.
• Vendor management and coordination.
• Opportunity to provide leadership to other technicians by providing training and mentoring.
• Other duties as assigned.
