About The Position

The position involves inspecting facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance. The individual will coordinate maintenance worker efforts to ensure that employer property, such as buildings and grounds, are well maintained. Responsibilities include identifying areas for improvement, assigning workers to address issues, developing and enforcing maintenance schedules among maintenance staff, and responding to emergency maintenance calls. The role also includes managing the setup and takedown of various events, performing troubleshooting to resolve minor repair issues, and communicating plans for upper-level improvements to the maintenance team. Additionally, the individual will contact and schedule repair personnel and additional help as needed, and perform administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Management experience is preferred.
  • Experience in maintenance is required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years' relevant experience in maintenance.
  • Extensive knowledge in a variety of mechanical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot.
  • Knowledge of structure or grounds to be maintained.
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures.
  • Knowledge of systems to be maintained (e.g. Electrical, roofing, pool).
  • Ability to lift heavy loads, physical agility, manual dexterity.
  • Strong computer skills and a solid understanding of data analysis software.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.

  • Perform inspections, lubrication, and adjustments on industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
  • Ensure all safety regulations and procedures are followed.
  • Work with other teams to identify and implement solutions for improvement.
  • Install, dismantle, and reassemble machinery and equipment.
  • Adjust and calibrate equipment, and perform tests to ensure proper functioning.
  • Prepare detailed records of maintenance activities, including schematics and records of preventative maintenance activities.
  • Maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
  • May train production workers on routine preventative maintenance.
