Equipment Maintenance Tech II in GAC Van Nuys Are you a hands-on technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills? We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician who can diagnose, repair, and maintain complex systems that support aircraft manufacturing. Experience maintaining or repairing aircraft ground support equipment (GSE) is highly preferred. What You’ll Do As a key member of our maintenance team, you will: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical malfunctions on production equipment. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and uptime. Conduct corrective maintenance and upgrades on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Deliver high‑quality repairs that keep equipment operating within required specifications. Partner with operations to resolve recurring issues and improve equipment performance. What We’re Looking For High School Diploma or GED required. 3 years of experience working with electrical controls and mechanical applications in a manufacturing environment. A 2‑year technical degree may offset one year of experience. Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems . Ability to work independently under general supervision. Experience with aircraft ground support equipment is a strong plus . Day shift 6:00am - 4:30pm Tuesday - Friday The compensation range for this role is $35.88 - $39.66 hourly. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors including but not limited to: minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, and location.
