About The Position

The Equipment Maintenance Stamping Maintenance Group Leader will coordinate and coach team members' activities as a first-line supervisor in GA maintenance to meet the section's goals, including PM, downtime, and skill level. The role requires adherence to the HMGMA shift rotation plan based on sales and production plans, which may involve 3-shift or 4-crew rotations, including holidays. The leader will carry out and report on the status of assigned tasks, including troubleshooting, PM activities, and other requests from superiors. Full support for urgent equipment issues is required, including during nights, weekends, and holidays. Compliance with safety and environmental guidelines is essential during maintenance activities. The leader will manage daily PM activities, team training and development, and breakdown management support to improve shop MTTR/MTBF performance. They will also coordinate and approve improvement ideas from team members and maintain spare parts, team center, and training room. Good communication with management is necessary to supervise and control conflicts within the organization and support team members. The leader will enforce company policies and procedures and act as a mentor to encourage continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • More than 6 years of maintenance career in the automated industry.
  • Experience managing more than 8 team members as a team leader.
  • Electrical & mechanical troubleshooting experience (PLC, power circuit, inverter & motors).
  • Technical college graduate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Stamping maintenance career in major automotive manufacturers.
  • Robot & hydraulic system maintenance experience (Fanuc robots).
  • Stamping system maintenance experience (500 tons or above).
  • Servo tandem press experience with NC cushion.
  • Rockwell PLC and HMI programming/troubleshooting experience.
  • Domestic / international travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate/approve/report improvement ideas from team members.
  • Maintain spare parts, team center, and training room.
  • Communicate with management to supervise and control conflicts.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Act as a mentor for all shop members.
