About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Equipment Maintenance Specialist (Level B) to support our Production Equipment Maintenance Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on variable shifts, including nights and weekends. Position Responsibilities: Performs maintenance on factory equipment. Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Uses and interprets advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment. Responds to requests for equipment repair. Maintains and manages component and replacement part inventories. Works under limited supervision. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Requirements

  • Must be willing and able to work a variable shift.
  • 1+ years of experience in equipment maintenance.
  • 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
  • 1+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters
  • 1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance
  • 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
  • 3+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters
  • 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
