We are looking for an Equipment Maintenance Manager to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Equipment Maintenance Director and based in Fremont, CA. This is a fully on-site role.

  • Manage and support all safety programs and compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all team members and visitors
  • Create and implement a continuous improvement manufacturing culture
  • Develop and Drive process improvements to meet business and customer demand
  • Monitor and track progress to Key Performance Indicators
  • Promote positive employee relations through effective communication
  • Coach, motivate, develop, train, and manage a large maintenance workforce
  • Support the launch of new products and processes
  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on existing equipment
  • Maintain database (CMMS) for upgrade and repair of all production equipment
  • CMMS Data review and reporting
  • Maintain spare parts tracking system
  • Ensure equipment uptime by keeping adequate spare parts inventories
  • Creation of technical documents and procedures.
  • Pareto issues with tool sets and identify key failure modes
  • Manage day to day work of the Maintenance Teams
  • Manage and lead in the installation and upgrades of production equipment
  • Generate weekly reports on key Maintenance performance metrics
  • Ownership of downed equipment and maintain close communication with Production and Engineering personnel
  • Improve manufacturing processes by making recommendations for safety, quality, productivity & cost through variability reduction and the implementation of best practices.
  • Minimum A.A. in Engineering or relevant experience. +6 yrs experience managing teams of technicians
  • Experience with manufacturing equipment
  • Experience with equipment maintenance
  • Demonstrated ability to debug mechanical, electrical, automation, robotic and chemical problems
  • Experience with CMMS & problem tracking
  • Proven ability to successfully manage a multiple of projects and meet deliverable deadlines amidst changing requirements, deadlines and priorities
  • Strong self-starter and team player with a can do attitude
  • Strong drive for results and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Must have manual dexterity.
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
