About The Position

The Equipment Maintenance General Assembly Maintenance Group Leader is responsible for coordinating and coaching team members' activities as a first-line supervisor in General Assembly maintenance to meet the section's goals. This includes following the HMGMA shift rotation plan based on sales and production plans, managing daily PM activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental guidelines. The role requires full support for urgent equipment issues and involves managing team training and development, breakdown management support, and enforcing company policies. The leader will also be a mentor for all shop members to encourage continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • More than 6 years of maintenance career in the automated industry.
  • Experience in managing more than 8 team members as a team leader.
  • Electrical & Mechanical troubleshooting experience (PLC, Power circuit, inverter & motors).
  • Technical College graduate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • GA Maintenance career in major automotive manufacturers.
  • Robot & AGV system maintenance experience (Kawasaki & Fanuc robots).
  • Test line equipment system maintenance experience (Fori, A&G, BEP, etc.).
  • Rockwell PLC and HMI programming/troubleshooting experience.
  • Domestic / International travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating & Coaching TM’s activities as a 1st line supervisor in GA maintenance.
  • Following HMGMA shift rotation plan based on sales & production plan.
  • Carrying out and reporting on the status of assigned tasks.
  • Providing full support for urgent requests regarding equipment issues.
  • Complying with Safety & Environmental guidelines during maintenance activities.
  • Managing daily PM activities to maintain stable equipment operation.
  • Managing team training and development.
  • Supporting breakdown management and reporting to improve shop performance.
  • Coordinating and approving improvement ideas from team members.
  • Maintaining spare parts, team center, and training room.
  • Communicating effectively with management to supervise and control conflicts.
  • Enforcing company policies and procedures.
  • Mentoring shop members to encourage continuous improvement.
