As a Texas Instruments Equipment Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include: Evaluate, select, and order equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment Keep current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues Study equipment performance and reliability Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations Define and write preventative maintenance schedules Texas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics or related engineering degree
  • Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA, or higher

Responsibilities
