About The Position

onsemi's semiconductor fabrication facility in Syracuse, NY is looking for a Equipment Engineer to join the team. Our technology enables the next generation of power conversion, accelerating the transition to high efficiency, high power conversion solutions and inspiring new power system architectures.

Requirements

• Bachelors' degree in a technical field such as Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in similar job function.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for process/equipment interactions.
• Experience in installation and maintenance of tools sets of at least two areas: MOCVD reactor, DUV photolithography, etch, thin films etc.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with wide bandgap materials is desired.

Responsibilities

• Create procedure and perform preventative maintenance of multiple toolsets.
• Work with process engineers for bringing up and qualifying tools for manufacturing.
• Responsible for tool uptime metrics.
