About The Position

The Equipment Installation & Deployment Specialist is responsible for the installation, removal, deployment, and basic repair of vending machines, micro-markets, and related equipment. This role travels to customer locations to complete installations, support service needs, and ensure equipment is fully operational. The specialist works closely with managers, customers, and installation teams to plan and execute efficient equipment placement while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in equipment installation, field service, or a related area preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated sense of ownership and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Comfortable driving a 26-foot box truck.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain and maintain a DOT physical.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift, push, and move 50–100 pounds.
  • Regular climbing in and out of vehicles.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, pulling, and pushing.
  • Loading and unloading equipment and materials.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or carpentry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare equipment and materials for installation or removal at customer locations.
  • Install, remove, and relocate vending machines, micro-markets, and related equipment for new and existing accounts.
  • Assist with micro-market buildouts, including setting millwork, countertops, slatwall, and equipment.
  • Ensure all materials and tools required for installation or replacement are available and properly prepped.
  • Work with managers and customers to determine the best approach for equipment placement or removal.
  • Travel in company vehicles to customer locations throughout assigned territories.
  • Move equipment between warehouse and customer sites using appropriate tools and moving equipment.
  • Provide customer support during field visits and address service concerns.
  • Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or misalignment.
  • Repair or replace worn or defective parts and test equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Perform minor repairs during installation, including basic electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or carpentry work when needed.
  • Operate mechanical equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report issues as needed.
  • Load and unload equipment and materials from delivery vehicles.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work with installation teams and management to resolve quality or installation issues.
  • Notify management of equipment or product replenishment needs.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
