About The Position
At Stone Ridge Equine Care, we’re excited to offer an incredible opportunity for a passionate Equine Veterinarian to join our team in Southern Indiana. Whether you’re an experienced doctor or a new graduate eager to learn, you’ll find a supportive, team-focused environment that values collaboration, growth, and quality care. We focus exclusively on equine medicine, providing both in-house and ambulatory care across Indiana and Kentucky. You’ll work alongside a close-knit group that includes two LVTs, two assistants, and a dedicated receptionist—all committed to delivering exceptional care to horses ranging from elite performance athletes to cherished pasture companions. About Our Hospital Built in 2017, our hospital was designed with both horses and veterinarians in mind. It features: An open-concept treatment area with two sets of stock Surgical suite and padded recovery Breeding/boarding stalls Multiple pasture options for in-hospital horses Farm calls and haul-in appointments Advanced Equipment Includes: Digital radiography and ultrasound Digatherm thermal imaging Shockwave therapy, PRP, and K-laser Endoscopy and gastroscopy Fully equipped IDEXX lab And so much more! Each doctor receives an individualized mentorship plan with weekly check-ins and monthly goal-setting meetings focused on professional growth and SMART objectives. Mentorship may include shadowing to learn workflows, extended appointment times, initial in-clinic-only cases, and paired mentorship for on-call emergencies.
