About The Position

Responsible for managing the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaints processing program at USAG Fort Moore, Georgia.

One year of specialized experience which includes experience counseling and performing investigations of discrimination complaints within a Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Program
Providing assistance to management officials regarding affirmative responsibilities
Processing a variety of complaints, ensuring compliance with applicable laws
Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Equal Opportunity Law.

Experience researching and utilizing the laws, regulations, policies and practices of a Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Program
Knowledge of Office of Personnel Management, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Merit Systems Protection Board, Civil Rights, EEO laws Code of Federal Regulations, Court decisions, Army Regulations and management directives to adjudicate, adjust and appeal EEO complaints.

Review, analyze, and evaluate EEO program initiatives and activities to identify barriers
Plan, prepare, develop, implement, and monitor the Management Directive 715 Report
Manage and administer the EEO informal and formal complaint process in accordance with current guidelines
Work closely with Equal Employment Opportunity Complaints (EEOC) Administrative Judges, IRD investigators and Labor Counselors.
