About The Position

EPMS (Electrical Power Monitoring Systems) Engineer LOCATION: Ashburn, VA (Remote) Who We Are Janitza LP is the North American arm of Janitza electronics GmbH, a leading German manufacturer of electrical power monitoring hardware and software. A family-owned business, we make hardware and software to measure and analyze power quality measures for our data center and industrial manufacturing customers. With our tools, companies can take action to reduce energy costs, improve uptime, and decrease their carbon footprint. Who You Are Reporting to the Solutions leadership team, the EPMS Engineer plays a critical role in designing, deploying, and supporting electrical power monitoring solutions. You work at the intersection of electrical power systems, automation, networking, and software integration. You are comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders-from field electricians and controls engineers to facility managers and executive leadership. You thrive in environments where systems are complex, requirements are evolving, and customer expectations are high. You bring experience working with low-voltage power distribution systems, power meters, intelligent electronic devices (IEDs), and automation platforms. You understand how power monitoring systems integrate into broader facility ecosystems such as BMS, SCADA, PLCs, and enterprise data platforms. You are equally comfortable troubleshooting on-site as you are designing architectures or supporting customers remotely.
