About The Position

  • Collect and analyze data on notifiable conditions using disease monitoring software for presentation to staff.
  • Assist in developing protocols related to disease investigations and quarantine/isolation guidelines.
  • Utilize the National Electronic Disease Surveillance Systems (NEDSS) to report and monitor infectious diseases in Nueces County.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
