Join the Kentucky Department for Public Health's Kentucky Diabetes Prevention and Control Program in an exciting opportunity to support efforts to improve the lives and health of people living with, or at risk for, diabetes. The Epidemiologist II program evaluator provides essential expertise through leading evaluation processes and working with programmatic staff to ensure that all activities can utilize data for program improvement, and are aligned with funding guidelines and best practices. You will be joining a supportive team in a flexible, hybrid work environment that values your contribution and collaboration. This is a federally funded time-limited (FFTL) position. This means it is a position that is paid entirely as the result of a federal grant. The duration of employment shall not exceed the life of the federal grant that funds the position. An employee appointed to an FFTL position is required to meet the minimum requirements for the classification. Further, an employee appointed to an FFTL position is designated as an unclassified (non-merit) employee. An FFTL employee is eligible to receive benefits at the same level as a classified (merit) employee in a permanent position. DPH has the ability to be competitive with compensation.
