About The Position
The Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Epidemiology Center is seeking two Epidemiologists, dependent upon experience and qualifications. This position is housed in our Minneapolis, Minnesota office. The Epidemiologist I will serve as an entry-level epidemiologist responsible for carrying out a range of investigative and analytical epidemiologic activities related to the surveillance, detection and prevention of diseases and injuries. Working as a team member, under the direction of the Senior Epidemiologist, conduct routine epidemiologic functions, technical assistance to Tribal Nations, and provide training on the basic principles of epidemiology as well as other important public health matters. Attendance as scheduled is an essential function of this position. Frequent travel is required to meet the needs of the position.
