About The Position

The Epicor ERP Technical Specialist at International Construction Equipment (ICE, Inc) is responsible for providing technical expertise, analysis, training, and implementation services related to the Epicor Manufacturing ERP software. This role involves working closely with the IT department and various business managers to enhance the use of Epicor, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in Enterprise Resource Planning software (i.e. SAP, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Oracle).
• 2+ years experience in Epicor Enterprise Resource Planning software.
• Strong knowledge of XML, DHCP, Linux, and UNIX systems.
• Proficiency in shell scripting for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with server administration and configuration management tools.
• Understanding of networking protocols and concepts.
• Experience with SQL databases and querying data.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and document SOP processes for ERP solutions.
• Develop plans and strategies for ERP expansions based on organizational requirements.
• Coordinate and manage implementation efforts in conjunction with management teams.
• Manage ERP post-implementation activities.
• Enforce system policies, procedures, and standards.
• Design, implement, and test system updates; resolve issues; troubleshoot problems; and identify design needs.
• Maintain and update system documentation and SOP.
• Ensure system security with the IT VP.
• Conduct performance audits and system reviews with the Controller.
• Perform system fieldwork, gather data, and develop reports.
• Manage upgrades and installations of system software.
