Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Health Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Epic Willow certification) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on pharmacy operations and Epic systems.
  • Proficiency in Epic Willow module, along with a strong understanding of pharmacy workflows and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and configure the Epic Willow Ambulatory module to meet organizational needs.
  • Support the rollout of new functionalities and features, ensuring alignment with clinical workflows.
  • Analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for improvement within the Epic Willow system.
  • Develop and implement optimization strategies to enhance system performance and user satisfaction.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, including pharmacy staff and clinicians, to promote effective use of the system.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving system-related issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, workflows, and user guides.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in pharmacy operations.
  • Work closely with IT teams, pharmacists, and clinical staff to facilitate communication and ensure alignment of objectives.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support ongoing Epic initiatives and system upgrades.
