The EPIC Resolute Professional Billing Analyst is the primary support contact and expert for the Epic Resolute application. This position is responsible for leading, coordinating, and supporting the implementation and eventual support of the Epic hospital billing module installation. Works under the direction of the Team Lead or senior-level analysts to configure, build and install the application. The Epic Resolute Billing Analyst coordinates all issues that arise during the application build phase. Key operational activities include primary responsibility for analyzing work flows and understanding policies, procedures and constraints of the clinical or business operations supported by the application. In depth and precise investigation and documentation of operational specifications and application functionality is required. Key technical activities include the analysis of new releases to determine how workflow should be modified, building and populating databases and tables during initial system configuration, conducting system testing and conversion data validation. Develops and documents internal procedures and establishes change control processes for the application. Develops user training aids and trains end users in workflow and use of the application. The Epic Billing Analyst functions as a contact to troubleshoot problems and questions from end-users during training, go-live and stabilization periods.
