About The Position

The Epic Prelude Analyst II position at Texas Health involves working within the IT Ambulatory Business Apps Department. This role is focused on building applications to meet user requirements for new and optimized workflows in designated applications and systems. The position requires quality control of all application implementations and enhancements prior to their release to customers, as well as ongoing maintenance and support as required by the application life cycle. Analysts may provide support to clinical and nonclinical staff at any Texas Health location, including hospitals and clinics. The role also includes diagnosing failures in application software and related technologies, participating in the resolution of problems, and communicating with customers, project teams, and vendors regarding business and clinical requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, clinical discipline, or related field (Preferred).
• 4 years of relevant work experience with no degree (Required).
• 2 years of relevant experience with an Associate’s degree (Required).
• 1 year of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree (Required).
• Epic Prelude Certification or Proficiency (Highly Preferred).
