About The Position

The position is responsible for the development, configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and other supporting IT systems for Penn State Health. The role involves collaboration with clinical, operational, financial services, and administrative staff to optimize the use of the Epic system, ensuring it meets the healthcare organization's needs and supports high-quality patient care delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Two years of ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency training including PGY-1 and PGY-2 specialty residency in pharmacy informatics; OR one year of ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency training plus three years of relevant pharmacy practice experience; OR six years of relevant pharmacy practice experience.
• Pennsylvania registration in Pharmacy or eligibility required.

Nice To Haves

• Medication management experience in acute care healthcare settings.
• Previous experience in Pharmacy Informatics including design, build, test, and support of an EMR.
• Epic certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
