About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill an Epic PB Analyst position for our client. Location: San Mateo, CA Duration: Contract to hire Duties: Configure, build, test, and maintain Epic Professional Billing (PB) functionality Analyze business workflows and translate requirements into system design and solutions Collaborate with revenue cycle, coding, and clinical teams to improve billing processes Support charge capture, claims processing, payment posting, and denial management workflows Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution or escalation Perform system upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives Develop and maintain documentation, including workflows, build specifications, and training materials Participate in testing efforts (unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing) Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and billing guidelines (e.g., CMS, HIPAA) Provide end-user support and training as needed Monitor system performance and recommend improvements Skills: Strong understanding of Epic Professional Billing (PB) application functionality Expertise in revenue cycle management and professional billing workflows Experience with charge router, fee schedules, claims editing, and reimbursement workflows Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding standards Familiarity with clearinghouses and payer requirements Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience with system configuration, testing, and production support Experience: 5+ years of experience supporting or implementing Epic PB Proven experience in healthcare IT, specifically within revenue cycle operations Experience working in a hospital or healthcare system environment Demonstrated success in system optimization and workflow improvements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) Epic Professional Billing (PB) Certification required Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Epic Professional Billing (PB) application functionality
  • Expertise in revenue cycle management and professional billing workflows
  • Experience with charge router, fee schedules, claims editing, and reimbursement workflows
  • Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding standards
  • Familiarity with clearinghouses and payer requirements
