About The Position

The Epic Patient Access Analyst supports design, build, implementation and optimization of Epic Cadence, Prelude, and Referrals modules, ensuring efficient, patient‑centered scheduling and referral workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IS, Business, Healthcare Admin or related field
  • 1–3+ years Epic experience preferred
  • hands‑on scheduling/template/referral workflow experience
  • strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Epic Cadence, Prelude, Referrals certification
  • experience with patient access workflows
  • familiarity with Epic tools and decision support.

Responsibilities

  • Application Build & Configuration: Build/maintain Cadence templates, provider templates, visit types, rules; configure Referrals workflows, BPA routing, auto‑close logic; maintain documentation and migration records; support ancillary integration.
  • Workflow Optimization: Collaborate with operations; analyze processes; improve scheduling accuracy and referral turnaround; reduce barriers; participate in governance.
  • Testing & Validation: Execute test scripts; coordinate UAT; validate templates, access groups, and work queues.
  • Project & Operational Support: Assist with onboarding, provider activations; support organizational initiatives; provide go‑live and cutover support.
  • Issue Resolution & Maintenance: Monitor work queues; resolve incidents; fulfill service requests; provide on‑call support.
  • Training & Communication: Create tip sheets and guides; communicate changes and downtime notices.
