About The Position

The Epic OpTime / Anesthesia Analyst is responsible for configuration, implementation, optimization, and support of the Epic OpTime and Anesthesia modules, ensuring smooth perioperative and anesthesia workflows and serving as SME.

  • Configuration/testing/implementation experience

  • Willingness for on‑call

Nice To Haves

  • 3–5 years supporting Epic OpTime/Anesthesia
  • Epic certification
  • Bachelor’s in healthcare/IT
  • Device integration experience
  • Knowledge of documentation standards and compliance

Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR staff, supply chain; analyze workflows.
  • System Build: Design, test, validate configurations including procedures, preference cards, instruments, flowsheets, scheduling rules.
  • Project Implementation: Lead/support lifecycle from planning to post‑live; participate in integration efforts.
  • System Maintenance: Monitor performance; manage upgrades, patches, enhancements.
  • Support: Resolve issues; provide root-cause analysis; manage incidents; on‑call rotation.
  • Collaboration: Support interoperability, device integration.
  • Documentation: Maintain workflows, test scripts, SOPs; ensure HIPAA compliance.
  • Training: Assist with training and change management.
  • Reporting: Support reporting needs for OR throughput, utilization, case volumes, anesthesia metrics.
