Formulates/defines system scope and objectives through research and fact finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains applicable programs.

  • Collaborates in the researching, designing, programming, testing, debugging, training, documenting, releasing, installing, and supporting information systems.
  • Develops specifications and conducts research.
  • Designs, creates, develops, or enhances computer applications.
  • Prepares documents in accordance with information system programming standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborates in applications systems analysis and programming activities.
  • Participates in project teams, special projects, and other tasks as assigned by director or designated team leader.
  • Provides positive customer relations across the range of information system activities including support services, UMMC business units, and vendors.
  • Promotes corporate integrity through compliance with UMMC and information technology policies and procedures.

  • Degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) and two (2) years of integration or interface development experience.
  • Certification or accreditation in Epic Bridges and/or Epic Data Courier. If not Epic certified or accredited in either module, then an Epic certification or accreditation for Bridges or Data Courier required post-hire within six (6)months.
  • An Epic assessment will be given to those candidates who pass the initial review step of the interview process.
