The Epic EHR Application Analyst - Resolute SBO/Professional Billing is a pivotal role within the IT Care Delivery Applications department, focusing on the development, support, and functionality rollout of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This position is designed to be performed remotely from various states across the United States, providing flexibility while ensuring that the organization’s workflow processes are optimized through tailored applications. The EHR Application Analyst will be responsible for understanding the capabilities of the EHR system and applying knowledge of healthcare business workflows to implement a system that meets the organization’s process needs effectively. In this role, the analyst will participate in all phases of the system development life cycle, which includes the development of use cases and evaluation of software solutions. The analyst will develop, configure, and modify moderately complex information systems, creating documentation of business requirements and current and future state workflows. The position requires designing, coding/configuring, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining programs/applications, as well as coordinating all testing phases of associated applications during implementations and upgrades. A key aspect of this role is to develop strong relationships with end-user communities, customers, and business partners, ensuring that best practices are utilized within the organization. The EHR Application Analyst will also provide hands-on training for end users and serve as a key onsite IT resource for facility implementation and support of a broad set of healthcare applications. Acting as a project manager for low to medium complexity projects, the analyst will lead and facilitate the facility's core clinical and business systems team on IT activities. Additionally, the analyst will provide second-level support as a broad EHR subject matter expert to resolve incidents or fulfill requests, and will serve as a project leader for implementations of EHR applications software releases and new products. On-call assistance may be required, along with leading, monitoring, and facilitating new module/application testing. The analyst will also participate in meetings as a member of organizational leadership as required, contributing to policies and procedures, training, and best practices for use within the organization.
