About The Position

The Epic Credentialed Trainer for Clinical Applications - Beaker is responsible for educating and supporting end users in the use of FirstHealth's Electronic Medical Record system, Epic. This role involves being trained and credentialed in the appropriate Epic applications and delivering education through various methods, including classroom instruction, tip sheets, and meetings. The trainer will work closely with Principal Trainers and Analysts to assess the educational and support needs of FirstHealth end users. Additionally, the trainer will provide ongoing support through phone, remote, and in-person assistance in FirstHealth departments and clinics.

Requirements

• Current driver's license valid in North Carolina with a good driving record.
• Associates degree or advanced diploma in a specialty area preferred.
• Two years of related work experience in IS, teaching, or healthcare setting.
• Must obtain Credentialed Trainer status with Epic Training Leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Educate and support end users in the use of Epic Electronic Medical Record system.
• Deliver education through classroom instruction, tip sheets, and meetings.
• Collaborate with Principal Trainers and Analysts to assess educational needs.
• Provide ongoing support through phone, remote, and roaming assistance in departments/clinics.
