About The Position

We're looking for a dynamic IT Clinical Analyst - Beaker/Bugsy to help shape the future of clinical systems at our organization. As part of our Epic EHR team, you'll develop, implement, and support Epic Beaker and Bugsy applications, translate clinical and business needs into smart, scalable EHR solutions, design workflows, configure systems, and train staff on Epic functionality. You will analyze procedures, identify opportunities, and recommend improvements aligned with federal patient safety and quality initiatives, collaborate with clinical and business teams to build strong, solution-driven partnerships, and ensure 24/7 system support through testing, documentation, and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive healthcare experience
  • Current Epic certifications in Bugsy and Beaker (Anatomical & Clinical Pathology) OR willingness to complete Epic training and certification within 60 days post-training
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare IT systems, Epic applications, and clinical documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead meetings, manage projects, and drive decisions
  • Excellent communication—verbal and written—with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in flowcharting, web technologies, and quality improvement methodologies
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Lab-related certification preferred
  • Experience in hospital or clinical IT settings, especially with Epic deployments
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare regulations, and IT systems
  • Hands-on experience with Epic clinical systems, especially in lab, microbiology, or pathology environments
